There is a wonderful opportunity for Hazelwood School District sophomores and juniors this summer. Fontbonne University will host a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) summer camp. The theme of the camp is “Zombie Camp.” The camp will be held at Fontbonne University located at 6800 Wydown Blvd., Clayton, MO, from June 24-28 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Students interested in biology, computer science, and “zombies” who would like to take advantage of this
free opportunity should complete an application and return to Gail Stewart before April 15. Click
here to access application.
Transportation will be provided for students to and from their home school to Fontbonne University’s campus.
Zombie Camp is a one-week program exploring epidemiology, plaques and computer modeling to simulate a zombie apocalypse.
Completed applications may be sent via U.S. mail, or via e-mail to, Gail Stewart at gstewart@hazelwoodschools.org, or hand-delivered to the HSD Learning Center office.
This summer camp will provide a great opportunity for students to experience a college campus and have fun applying STEM-related skills.
Special thanks for Fontbonne University for funding this camp.
