My name is Dr. Jennifer Roper. I am excited and honored to be named principal of McNair Elementary School. My entire career has been spent working with young people in the Hazelwood School District. I began as a kindergarten teacher at Lawson Elementary. I was then given the opportunity to work with teachers, students and parents as the instructional specialist. My next promotion landed me in the role of an assistant principal at Northwest Middle School.
I am privileged to be a part of McNair; where teachers are dedicated to student achievement and gaining parental support. The staff and I will work together to help all students succeed. If school and home collaborate, then I believe this goal will be achieved at even greater level. I look forward to getting to know your child and playing an active role in his/her education.
I am thrilled to begin another journey of my career with the McNair family.
