Hazelwood School District Graduation Requirements  

Communication Arts:                                4 credits

 (English 1, English 2, English 3, and 2 CA electives)

 Mathematics:                                          4 credits

 (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and 1 Math elective)

 Social Studies:                                       3 credits

 (Government and Civics/Economics, World History, and US History)

 Science:                                                  3 credits

 (Physics First, Biology, and Chemistry)

 Practical Arts:                                         1 credit

 Fine Arts:                                                1 credit

 Physical Education:                                  1 credit

 Personal Finance:                                    0.5 credit

 Health:                                                    0.5 credit

 Foreign Language:                                    2 credits**

 (**Foreign Language is not a requirement for graduation, however all college bound students are strongly encouraged to complete 2 credits for college admission.)

Completion of Community Service Hours: Students are required to complete 12.5 hours for each year they attend high school in Hazelwood School District.
